Organised by:
ICM (Interdisciplinary Centre for
Mathematical and Computational
Modelling), Warsaw University.
Scientific chair:
Marek Niezgódka (ICM)
Hans Georg Bock (IWR)
Scope of the workshop:
It is our pleasure to announce the 3rd Fall Workshop. For the
third time professors and PhD students from IWR, Heidelberg, and
ICM and the partner institutions will meet together. The main
objectives remain as before: to bring together scientists from different
areas and to create a good and stimulating environment
so as to foster bridges across scientific disciplines.
The workshop is organised within the frames of the activities
conducted by the Polish-German
Graduate College.
Though organised very late this year, we do hope for
traditionally nice weather giving the participants
opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the romantic landscape
of the surroundings.
Programme:
A number of invited lectures will be offered given by leading
scientists
working at ICM, IWR and collaborating institutions.
PhD students are highly encouraged to report on their running
doctoral projects.
A detailed programme of the meeting is constructed by the
participants themselves and their contributions. Its regular
updates will be provided.
Thus it is of a great importance and help to the
organisers if you provide us with a title and abstract of your
presentation as soon as possible.
